7A-7B Ardroil  




By Air FlyBe offers flights from Glasgow International, Edinburgh and Inverness. Flying time is approx. 50 minutes, though 25 minutes from Inverness. Air services are available on Sundays.

By Car There are two ferry routes to the Isle of Lewis operated by Caledonian MacBrayne. One from Ullapool to Stornoway and one from Uig on the Isle of Skye to Tarbert, Isle of Harris. These ferries do operate on Sundays.

Directions from Stornoway take the A859 towards Tarbert. After 10 miles at Liurbost turn right on to the A858 to Gearraidh Na H-Aibhne. Take a left on to the B8011 to Timsgearraidh. At Timsgearraidh continue on the road to Eadar dha Fhadhail. This is the Gaelic name for Ardroil, which is a very small village. After passing the village sign, you will crest a hill overlooking Uig Sands and passing a wellington boot house sign on your right, you will find 7A and 7B shortly afterwards, also on the right side. The journey should take approximately 50 minutes.
